WELCOME TO THE MAINE SCHOOL OF MASONRY PROGRAM OVERVIEW This program is designed for the student to develop skills and knowledge in the brick, block and stone masonry fields; trades that provide employment today as it did in the days of the pyramids. The student will develop skills through lab projects, classroom instruction and community involvement projects. ADMISSIONS Students must be 18 years of age or older with solid basic skills in reading, writing and math. LOCATION 637 Rangeley Road, Avon, ME 04966. The school is located in Avon, Maine, a small town iin the Sandy River Valley, surrounded by the Western Mountains of Maine. Major ski areas, hiking trails and some of Maine's largest lakes are less than an hour away. One of America's top colleges, the University of Maine at Farmington, is just a few minutes drive.
